Demand Planner (Pharma)
|
Demand Planner (Pharma) Duties: o Ownership of the Demand planning process o Improved collaboration with the Customer o Drive continuous improvement o OTIF o Proactive alert management to minimise Stock out o Pro-active, clear & reliable communication to Customer, Supply Planners & Key Stakeholders o Customer focused mindset in dealing with Demand requirements o Demand, Supply & NPL integration to ensure a consistent and reliable Hub. o Comply with all Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements. Responsibilities: o Manage the Net requirements review meeting with affiliates o Challenge major exceptions with Affiliates o Confirm NPL - ownership o Communicate key fluctuations to Supply planners o Communicate potential supply gaps based on net requirements Volume o Pro-active management of all open order o Ensure reliable order confirmation - Right First Time o Standard Orders, Rush Orders, Order Change management o Pro-active communication on Order delays o Establish strong collaborative relationship with the Customer - Trust o Manage recurring/ structural demand issues with the Customer o Ensure corrective actions are implemented. o Understand & communicate Affiliate needs & priorities to the Supply planner o Understand & communicate Supplier capabilities & constraints to the Affiliate o Continuous Improvement - Forecast accuracy, stock out management etc. o Communication of priorities, order confirmations and demand changes to both internal & external customers o Regular Demand, Supply & Order meetings Requirements: o Degree in a Business Related discipline or Supply Chain. o APICS or equivalent qualification an advantage but not essential. o Previous SAP experience a distinct advantage o Ability to design, maintain systems and work on own initiative.
